I have this metal yard art of a running dog in my side flower garden. I can't wait until the flowers start to grow up around him.
"Sunshine" - Haiku and Fiber Art - April 13, 2011
I wrote this haiku and made this fiber art piece to go with it. I belong to a Haiku challenge group and the word "sunshine" was our word for the month of March. We had to write a haiku for the word "sunshine" and make a piece of art.
My haiku to accompany this piece is:
Sunshine glistening...
Beams dance across the water...
It's heat warms my soul...

It's springtime, so it must be time for the dandelions to bloom. There's a lot of weeding to be done.

Los Angeles City Hall - The "Dragnet" Building - April 8, 2011
This is the old City Hall where the TV show "Dragnet" was filmed in the 1960s. It is a beautiful building. I took this photo on a nice sunny day.
