I took this photo of a "dwarf powder puff tree" at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland on Sunday afternoon. The red powder puff flowers are about the size of a baseball. The tree was beautiful.

Butterfly Garden at Brookside Gardens - May 9, 2011
I went to Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, Maryland yesterday afternoon for Mother's Day. Besides their wonderful gardens and plants, they have an enclosed butterfly garden that is fascinating. There were hundreds of different butterflies all around us. The colors in their wings were so vivid.

Rhododendron in Bloom - May 6, 2011
The rhododendron in my front yard is blooming now. I hope that the flowers last a long time because it look beautiful.
