At the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nv. - October 24, 2011
I got to go to LasVegas for my birthday this year. I had never been there before. This photo was taken outside the Bellagio Hotel. You can see the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel across the way. I had a wonderful time and will be posting a lot more photos from this trip.

I have a quilt hanging at Artistic Artifacts in Alexandria, Va. We were all given a packet of "suiting fabric" and ask to make an original design with the fabrics. We could use any amount of the fabric for the project, but the finished piece had to be 18" square.

Mini Starfish in Neighbor's Salt Water Aquarium - October 21, 2011
My neighbor has a large salt water aquarium and there are a lot of mini star fish in it. This starfish is about 1 inch in diameter.
